IP-01 is one of the largest inclined planes for physics demonstrations available in the market. Its plane size is an outstanding 10 in. wide by 30 in. long plane allowing for a wide variety of blocks and devices to slide on top. When closed its height is only 1 inch. The base is made of powder-coated steel and it plane of polished stainless steel. The working plane allows for the addition of surfaces made of other materials providing a single plane for all kinematic and static demonstrations.
This plane provides an aperture angle from 0 and up to 70 degrees, significantly higher than other inclined planes in the market. This plane also features a novel single-hand operation mechanism that allows students to open and lock the plane in position from any angle between 20 to 70 degrees.
